Stolen Merchandise

Stolen in Theft From Auto in Cordova, TN in the late afternoon of Sunday, June 17, 2001

Some of the MPC notes were fenced at a coin show in Melville, NY on June 24, 2001.
Some of this material has since been recovered and was removed from this list on 09/25/01.

(Most of the bulk lots are packaged 10 per mylar holder and are typical Vietnam era circ notes, with a mild musty odor and pinholes near one edge or the other.  The other items are in individual mylar holders.  The 541 5¢ and 661 50¢ were in an unmailed letter-sized envelope addressed to a collector in Texas.)
Miscellaneous merchant/advertising scrip, exposition tickets, etc.: A few Colonial Currency notes, including a CU Connecticut 3 pence and an XF 1780 Connecticut 20 pence hole-cancelled.

BEP "Prosperity Notes", 1999 $1.00 Federal Reserve Notes with serial numbers E88880xxxB in custom holder (approx. 25)

A U. S. Mint 2000 "Millennium Coin and Currency Set", with the serial number of the $1 Federal Reserve Note ending in "11" and the right-hand side serial number having the second "1" about 1 - 2 mm higher than the first "1".

Perpetrators:  Driver was dark-complexioned Hispanic male, late 20's - mid 30's, 5' 8" - 5' 10", 200 - 220 lbs., short curly black hair, black mustache, no beard, no glasses, no other identifying marks.  Accomplice not identifiable.

Vehicle:  maroon or burgendy mini-van (Chevy Astro or similar), mid 1990's vintage, no front license plate
